About Pump Your Poop

Septic systems are mysterious to most people right up until they're a problem. We think that's backwards. Pump Your Poop exists to make septic make sense — with straight, plain-English answers and a little humor — and to connect homeowners with septic pros they can actually trust.

We're not a faceless directory. This site is built and run by WNC Independent Labs (WNCIL, LLC), a working well & septic company serving the 14 counties of Western North Carolina. We pump tanks, run inspections, fix drain fields, test water, and service wells for a living. The advice here comes from the field, not a content farm.

What we do

• Teach. Free, honest guides and tools so you can take care of your system.
• Serve. In Western NC, we'll do the work — pumping, inspections, and repairs.
• Connect. Everywhere else, we help you find a local septic pro, and we help good septic companies get found.
